Outdoor living

As the weather finally warms up and it starts to feel like Spring we've been optimistically looking out at the garden... A little peaking around online later and we've collected some brilliant ideas to brighten up your outdoor space, big or small.

First up in the gallery is an idea from Martha Stewart, we love her inventive use of shells to create this distinctive setting and bring a touch of the seaside into your home. Next we have a very achievable, simple idea from Living etc who suggest "liven up evening, outdoor dining by dotting candles and tealights around the garden and hanging lanterns from the branches of the trees" this has been taken to the next level in our fourth image creating an incredibly dramatic effect. Alternatively why not try decorating your trellis with jam-jar candle holders? Fairy lights would also create a pretty effect simply weaved through the gaps and finally if you're lucky enough to have a pond or lake add some floating lanterns, the lights reflecting on the water is beautiful.

We can't wait to make use of the extra space and with the safety of flameless candles theres no limit to where you can place them and no mess to clean up after.
